I don’t know how far this is true but they say patience is a pain in the butt. Is it virtue? Same same la, potayto potahto. Anya Hindmarch launched their recent Spring Summer collection and I was one of the lucky ones to be invited for the preview. Oh.My.God! Truth be told, I was just drooling over the super adorable collection they’ve pieced together this time. Yet again.
Anya has always been very quirky with her designs. She’s successfully balanced the quirkiness and classiness for all her designs giving them an elegant sense of humor yet very practical. Look at the sunny side up buckle on that handbag! It’s uber cute but subtle enough for me to carry into meeting with clients without them raising eyebrows thinking I must have been out of my mind carrying breakfast into the boardroom.
So back to the story of patience, I was this close to just YOLO and buy like 3 handbags at the event. But it will be massively hypocritical of me to be preaching to people to save for their goals and here I am recklessly swiping my cards on impulsive purchases. So, I’ve made a deal with myself. I will be buying that super cute tote (or tote-s) once I’ve diligently saved for it. The second batch of the collection will be coming in sometime March or April. So honey, we’ve got time.
Save4Dream will be rolling out our prototype soon so the app can help me save for these cute bags. I will share with you the updates from time to time okay. 😉
Cool jacket and pants from Aere. I got mine from Shoesshoesshoes 🙂
